Shop Authentic African Art, Masks & Shona Sculpture
Hemingway African Gallery has been a family-owned source for fine African art since 1975. From our gallery in lower Manhattan, we offer one-of-a-kind masks, stone sculpture, antique artifacts, furniture, and home décor — most of it collected in the field and sourced directly from artists and communities across the continent. Whether you are a designer sourcing a statement piece, a collector seeking provenance, or someone furnishing a room with meaning, every work here is chosen by hand.
Affirm is available at checkout if you'd prefer to pay over time. If you're in New York, come see the collection in person — we're at 88 Leonard Street in lower Manhattan.
A Curated Collection, Not a Catalog
We don't carry everything — we carry what we can stand behind. Each work is chosen for its artistry, its history, and the story of how it came to us. Browse contemporary decorative art, antique masks and figures where we can document origin and pedigree, monumental Shona stone sculpture carved by hand in Zimbabwe, and furniture and textiles that bring the safari-home aesthetic into any space.
