Authentic African Masks & Wall Décor

Hemingway African Gallery's mask collection spans the great carving traditions of West and Central Africa — Punu and Fang masks from Gabon, Goli and Baule masks from Côte d'Ivoire, Songye and Kwele from the D.R. Congo, Bamileke elephant masks from Cameroon, and Bozo and Bamana work from Mali. These are decorative masks carved today, many by the descendants of the original carvers, working in the same regional styles their families have carved for generations. Family-owned since 1975 and based in Tribeca, we source every mask directly and ethically.

Each mask is photographed individually because each one is the only one. When a mask sells, it comes off the site. Most arrive ready to hang with wire installed on the back, and smaller pieces ship FedEx Ground for a subsidized flat $30. Affirm is available at checkout if you'd prefer to pay over time.
