Return Policy

Hemingway African Gallery accepts returns on select non-fragile items, including wooden masks, wire sculptures, jewelry, and other approved objects that can be safely repacked and shipped by the customer.

Due to the fragile nature and professional packing requirements of certain works, we do not accept returns on furniture, Shona stone sculpture, large-scale objects, or any item that requires custom or professional packing for safe transport.

To request a return, customers must contact us by email within 7 days of delivery. Return requests made after this period may not be accepted. Items must be returned in the same condition in which they were received.

Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and insuring the package for its full value. Hemingway African Gallery is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipment.

Once the item has been received at the gallery and inspected, store credit will be issued for the approved return. Store credit will not be issued for items that are returned damaged, altered, or not in their original condition.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item. This allows us to evaluate the issue and work with you to make it right.
