ANIMAL SHONA SCULPTURE

Decorative African Fine Art, Masks & Wall Décor

Hemingway African Gallery's Fine Art collection features decorative works made today by artisans across Africa — hand-carved masks, sculpture, and wall art that draw on the continent's rich artistic traditions. Many of these pieces are created by the descendants of the original carvers, referencing classic regional styles while standing as beautiful contemporary art in their own right. Family-owned since 1975 and based in Tribeca, we source every piece directly and ethically, offering authentic, handcrafted decorative art that makes a statement in any home or collection. From striking masks and beaded animal sculpture to dancing shields and woven baskets, these works bring the artistry of Africa into everyday living.
