Yaka Instrument
This instrument is a slit drum made by the Yaka people called a mukoku. The Yaka live in the southwest of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The Yaka used mukoku to divine the future. Mukoku would not only be played by diviners, but would also hold divinatory medicines.
