Kuba Cup, D.R. Congo
This cup depicts a human head with two functional handles. Kuba cups were used by high court members as status pieces while drinking palm wine. From the Cleynhens Collection: Jules Cleynhens began collecting this Congo and Gabon art in the 1950s.
